7 & 8 (East of the L.A. River & North to Del Amo Blvd.)

Thursday, Aug. 11
4pm- 200 block of West Pacific Coast Highway
An adult male suspect assaulted a female adult after she refused to give him money. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries to her lower body, which did not require medical attention. Officers quickly responded to the scene, located the suspect and took him into custody without incident.

Friday, Aug. 12
12am- 2000 block of E. Pacific Coast Highway
Officers responded to the scene of a shooting and located an adult male victim. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to his lower body and was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

1am- 300 block of W. 19th Street
Four adult male suspects approached two adult males, assaulted them and took their property. One of the victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries throughout his body and was transported to the hospital. Officers quickly responded and were able to locate one of the suspects. Officers took the suspect into custody without incident.
