The Pico Avenue exit from the southbound Harbor Scenic Drive/710 Freeway in the Port of Long Beach will be closed this weekend from 11pm Friday, July 27 to 8pm Sunday, July 29.
The off-ramp, identified as the Pier F, G Pico Ave” exit, is to be closed while Southern California Edison crews drive piles for transmission poles. The work will provide additional electricity to the Port as a source of clean energy for ships at berth.
Vehicles coming into the Port can continue on Harbor Scenic and exit at the Harbor Plaza/Harbor Scenic off-ramp, then turn right onto Harbor Plaza to reach Pico.
