CHLB launches vehicle donation program

Community Hospital of Long Beach (CHLB) has partnered with, a part of the National Vehicle Donation Program, to turn used cars into cash donations for the CHLB Foundation.
The donation program maximizes the value of each donation by selling at more than 250 of the best automobile auctions in the country. The donation procedures can be made entirely by phone or online.
To be eligible for donation, vehicles must be whole with no missing engine or suspension although it is not required though to be in running condition. Owners will be asked the make, model, vehicle identification number (VIN) and current mileage of the vehicle. Vehicles must also have a clear title in the donor’s name.
Once receives the completed car donation packet, they will contact the owner to schedule a free tow. They will also provide all the pertinent tax documentation required for a deduction after the completion of this process.
