Fright flicks to usher in new Bixby film series

On Sunday, September 28 at 7 pm, the Long Beach Shakespeare Company will inaugurate a free series of classic films, opening with Alfred Hitchcock’s great study in terror, Psycho.

Sept. 28 Psycho (1960) starring Janet Leigh and Anthony Perkins
Oct. 5 The Wolf Man (1941) starring Lon Chaney
Oct. 12 Frankenstein (1931) starring Boris Karloff
Oct. 19 The Invisible Man (1933) starring Claude Rains
Oct. 26 Dracula (1931) starring Bela Lugosi
Nov. 2 The War of the Worlds (1953) starring Gene Barry
Nov. 9 The Mummy (1932) starring Boris Karloff
