Leave your previous tree dumping habits in Christmas Past. Go green this holiday season with the help of local Christmas tree recycling (also known as “treecycling”) programs. In Signal Hill, trees will be picked up where trash is normally collected on Tuesday, December 30, and Tuesday, January 6. All decorations, lights and stands must be removed. Flocked trees will not be accepted. Signal Hill residents living in condos or apartments can call Signal Hill Disposal at (562) 597-0608 to schedule a special collection.

In Long Beach, residents with City refuse service can leave their trees out where trash is normally collected on Saturday, January 10 by 7am. All decorations and stands must be removed, and trees over 12 ft. tall need to be cut in half.
