Long Beach Camerata Singers announce new board

Long Beach Camerata Singers this week announced their 2018 board of directors. The executive committee are: Jan Hower, president; David Bunker, vice president; Heather Chambers, treasurer and finance; and Steven Nottingham, secretary.
Other members of the board include Dee Abrahamse, Arlyss Burkett, Tish Camp, Jeffrey Denton, James C. Edwards, Marianne Gastelum, Howard Griffiths, Myra Hillburg, Meredith Lee, Dick Lunde, Evelyn Meacham, Carl Porter, Carli Steers and Barbara Tressel.
The staff for Long Beach Camerata Singers includes: James K. Bass, artistic director; Tammi Alderman, assistant conductor and personnel manager; Joe Kim, operations manager; and Allison Acken, administrator.
The newest board members are Gastelum, Camp and Edwards.
Gastelum is the former executive director of the Center for International Trade and Transportation-CSULB and the past deputy director for METRANS transportation center.
Camp is a retired internal-medicine physician with three adult children. Originally from Nebraska, she has lived in Southern California for 30 years, having moved to Long Beach four years ago.
Edwards is a corporate controller with Energy Tubulars Inc. He received his master’s in systems management from USC and his bachelor’s in business administration from CSULB.  He is currently a vocalist with Long Beach Camerata Singers and the Pacific Chorale.
