The northbound 710 transition to the eastbound 91 Freeway will be closed for 55 hours the weekend of Feb. 9-12, according to 8th District Long Beach Councilmember Al Austin’s office.
Caltrans has announced the scheduled closure of the northbound connector for bridge girder repair.
The closure is subject to change, but the scheduled times are from 10pm on Friday, Feb. 9 until 6am on Monday, Feb. 12
In conjunction with the bridge work, the eastbound State Route 91 connector to northbound I-710 will also be restricted to one lane during the same hours.
The closure of the ramp is necessary to provide a safe work environment for crews to repair girder damage to the bridge, according to Caltrans.
