The Downtown Long Beach Alliance presented Summer and Music’s 10th annual Buskerfest festival Saturday, Sept. 8. Local bands, throughout 1st Street in Long Beach’s East Village Arts District, competed in this year’s busker competition, and the audience voted for its favorite band by tossing wooden nickels to the competing performers.
