City of SH hosting community photo contest for SH Public Library

Until July 10 at 4pm, community members can submit up to three photos depicting life in Signal Hill for a chance to be featured on the Signal Hill Public Library’s Legacy Wall for one year.

All ages are welcome to submit entries to the Signal Hill Public Library Community Photo Contest. This contest is open to Signal Hill residents and students only.

Winning photos will be printed on fiberboard and displayed as part of the Public Library Legacy Wall, which recognizes donors to the Library Capital Campaign.

After the one-year display period is over, the printed photo will be given to the photographer, and they will be recognized at an upcoming Signal Hill City Council meeting.

To enter, email the high-resolution photos of life in Signal Hill to [email protected] For more information, call the City’s Community Services Department at (562) 989-7330.
