After 25 years of service to the patients and clients of Uptown Animal Hospital, 3350 Atlantic Ave., Dr. Warren Sakamoto will retire this spring, and Dr. Julie Voltin is the hospital’s new owner.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Sakamoto for his endorsement and recommendations,” said Voltin, who was born and raised in Southern California. Following her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, she received her veterinary degree from Ross University and finished her clinical year of studies at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
“I have worked in the veterinary field since I was 16 years old, gaining experience in every department from front desk to kennel to technician, and I truly love my job,” Voltin said. “I am very excited to join Uptown’s team and continuing a tradition of compassionate care for your pets, excellent veterinary medicine and quality customer service.”
Voltin is offering a complimentary physical exam to all new and returning clients through April. Call (562) 424-8541 for an appointment.
